Giselle Palmer met her man when she was a junior in college. She was a nursing student while he was doing his residency. Giselle was not doing very well at the time but that’s when Derek noticed and starting helping her. They were just friends at first but after a few years it grew up into a solid relationship that ended up in marriage.
